The Winter Milky Way

Date:            March 2, 2000

Location:      Tucson Arizona - Empire Ranch Dark Site

Equipment:  Piggyback Camera with a 17mm f4 Tameron lens

Conditions:   Dark and Clear

Film:             Fuji Superia 800 X-Tra

Exposure:     45 minutes at f5.6

Comments:  This photo was actually overexposed - I either need to stop the lens more or shut the exposure down sooner.  I like the way that you can see Monoceros, Gemini, Orion, Taurus, Auriga and some of Perseus.
