The North America Nebula
Date: Labor Day 1999
Location: Harry Kindt's Country Home - Northwest Ohio
Equipment: Canon F-1, Soligor 200mm f3.5 lens, G11, ST4
Conditions: Dark, about 7 of 10 transparency
Film: Kodak Ektapress PJ 400
Exposure: Digital Composite of two 30 minute exposures
Comments: The North America Nebula (NGC7000) is one of my favorite objects to photograph. Although the 200mm lens is a tad small for this object (300mm to 400mm would be better) I like the detail visible in both the North America and the Pelican.
