Lagoon Nebula and Trifid Nebula

Date:             September 25, 2000

Location:       Boon Michigan

Equipment:   4" f6 refractor, G11, Taurus Tracker, St4

Conditions:    Dark and clear

Film:              Kodak Ektapress PJ400

Exposure:      1 @ 60 minutes, 1 @ 45 minutes.  Adjusted in Photoshop

Comments:   I actually took only the 60 minute exposure at Boon this fall.  Then I stacked it with the 45 minute exposure that I took in Boon last fall.  This seems to give enough to take most of the "brownish" tone (both shots were very low to the horizon) out and still retain the nebulosity.
