NGC 1499

Date:             September 27, 2000

Location:       Boon Michigan

Equipment:   4" f6 refractor, G11, Taurus Tracker, St4

Conditions:    Dark and clear

Film:              Kodak Ektapress PJ400

Exposure:      60 minutes.  Adjusted in Photoshop

Comments:   This is my first attempt at the California Nebula with anything other than piggyback equipment.  The image size seems to suit the 4" f6 refractor very well.  I really need to get more exposure on this one - perhaps two 90 minute exposures but I am happy for a first attempt.
