Antares area with M4

Date:             April 20, 2007

Location:       Seven Sisters Observatory - Manchester MI

Equipment:   ZS66SD w/ FF, Canon 10D

Conditions:    Very nice seeing - moon had almost set

Film:              None - DSLR @ ISO 400

Exposure:      12 X 300 sec plus 2 X 300 sec dark frame

Comments:    In this case the focal length is too long!  I do like the resolution of M4.  This area screams for a six panel mosaic taken with the ZS66 and I think this will be a project for the summer.  A mosaic will allow me to get more of the missing nebulosity and get rid of the vignetting.
