Cherry Bookcase:

I finally finished this Cherry Bookcase.  Plans were from Woodsmith Magazine modified to be taller and have an additional shelf.  This case uses sliding dovetails pretty extensively to solve wood movement issues.  The side slats are mortise and tenon construction.  I had planned to wipe on Watco Natural, spray with shellac and then spray with a water based topcoat.  I did fine until the topcoat and I found my small HVLP would not spray General Finished WB topcoat.  I changed the topcoat to a wiped on General Finishes Gel Urethane and all was well.
