Comet C2009 P1 Garradd - 10-24-2011

I was shooting this while a huge aurora display was taking place. Every once in a while a ball of auroral glow would drift over the comet raising the background levels in that sub frame. Exposure was 10 X 180 seconds at ISO800 shot through the 8" f5 Newtonian and guided with my WW 66SD.
