October 4, 2008 - Manchester Michigan. Modified Canon 10D, WO ZenithStar 66SD, Losmandy G11, 24X300 seconds @ISO 1600 and 8X900 seconds @ISO800.
Combined and processed using Images Plus, Photoshop, Noise Ninja, Noel's Action Tools and Gradient Exterminator.
This is a very interesting area. It is also known as "The Elephants Trunk". I took a total of 4 hours of sub frames on one night to get this shot. The area fit just right in the FOV using the 66.
