NGC 6992 11-7 and 11-8 2010 SSO Observatory

The November New Moon was looking pretty clear and I thought I would give some long total exposure shots a try. This represents 3 hours on Sunday night and another 3 hours on Monday night. Taken through the Megrez 90 I learned that nothing beats exposure length. I did relatively little stretching to get this. The hardest thing was to composite the two images from the different nights as Sundays were 5 minute subs and Monday's were 10 minute subs. Lots of fun!
