Seven Sisters Observatory - 11-10-01
I wanted to get out while the opportunity presented itself and try to get some pictures of the comet. The weather was clear all day but once Jeff Thrush and I got set up we could see a cloud deck in the north. The wind started howling but the trusty G11 tracked well. I managed to take a couple of short shots of the North American Nebula and of the comet before the clouds rolled in for good at about 9:30. The results are below:
